Default Hello All

Just wanted to say hello to everyone there is a lot of cool stuff in here.

I would like to make hydrogen and bio diesel. I have a few gallons I can get per week maybe 50 that should at least keep my duramax fueled up.

Does anyone run a specific bio diesel system? I don't think I want a SVO system. I think it would be cool to run bio instead. I would forget to shut down and start the system right.

talk with you later

That's why I joined, I want to learn as much as I can before I commit. I have access to uses vegetable oil that will be very clean and free of water and other contaminants. All I will have to do is filter.
I recently met a driver delivering new cars with trailer and one ton Dodge diesel with Cummings diesel engine. He told me they use used cooking oil filtered and then add one gallon of gasoline and small can of diesel treatment. He indicated that they had four trucks using this method for about 4 years now. He said the only problems they had was getting enough oil.
Comments please!
As I find out more info I'll share with the group.
On the hydrogen side, an acquaintance told me that the high temps. running on hydrogen require replacing valves and valve guides.
Again Comments welcome!!!!

Sincerely,

The Lizard
